About Our Survey

Thank you for your interest in our survey on parents’ mindset on infant and pediatric vaccines. As the person responsible for leading, you must be thoroughly informed about the background of our survey.

What is the survey on infant vaccines about?

This survey is designed to learn how parents feel about vaccines for infants and young children, especially in the context of clinical trials. The feedback you share will help guide studies testing a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) for infants.

Studies for pneumococcal conjugate vaccine compare PCV options for infants ages 2 to 15 months: the standard PCV currently used for infants and an investigational PCV that is already approved for adults. The dosing schedule for infants remains the same, but researchers study how well this adult-approved version works and how safe it is for young children.

PCVs help protect against pneumococcal disease, which can cause serious illnesses such as lung infections (pneumonia), ear and sinus infections, infections of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis), and blood infections (bacteremia).

Why is your participation so crucial?

Surveys with parents and caregivers are essential for understanding views on vaccines for infants and young children. Your feedback will help researchers learn more about how families think about pneumococcal vaccines and guide studies that aim to protect children’s health.

This particular survey will help inform a clinical trial studying a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) for babies ages 2 to 15 months. Even if you or your child don’t directly benefit from the study, your input can contribute to improving future vaccine options and help protect other children from serious illnesses like pneumonia, meningitis, and blood infections.

Who do we ask?

We are seeking participants from the USA who are currently expecting a child or have recently had a child to complete the pediatric vaccine survey. Your input will help researchers better understand families’ needs and could guide future vaccine options for little ones.

Who conducts the survey?

We, SubjectWell, are conducting the survey on behalf of Sanofi.
